Definition of ‘Pay’

In reiteration of Clause 6 of the Bipartite Settlement dated 11th November 2020, ‘Pay’ shall be defined as under

Bank contribution - 14 % of Basic Pay, Special Pay and D.A. there on.

4. From June 2024, for contribution under NPS Pay shall consist of Basic Pay + Special Pay + PQP + FPP (Employee contribution-10%, Bank contribution-14%)

5. As per the NPS, PF or DA prescribed options, an employee covered under SBID CPS; (a) may continue in the existing corporate – Central Government Scheme or (b) may select any of the common schemes managed by SBI PFPL as under

(i) Auto choice – Asset allocation is automatically adjusted according to age.

(ii) Active Choice – Employees may determine their own asset allocation within the limits prescribed by PFRDA from time to time.
